They kept hearing about each other. How wonderful he was. How great she was. Over and over again Stephanie’s sister in law insisted that she had to meet C. He would be the man of her dreams. She promised. And so reluctantly Stephanie went on a blind date.
Just out of a relationship, Stephanie wasn’t really interested in dating. But she thought it was time to finally meet the man she had heard so much about it. Yet when the time came she realized she wasn’t ready for a relationship again and wouldn’t dance. Or play pool. Or take the offer of a drink from C. The wall she put up was pretty high. It wasn’t that she didn’t like him, just that she wasn’t looking for a boyfriend. So when he asked her to go out again she didn’t know what to say. Or do. After saying no more than a few times she finally realized that he wasn’t going to stop asking. He was persistent. And maybe, just maybe, she liked him. More than a little bit. With a new outlook, another date was set and they hit it off instantly. And maybe, just maybe, she had found the man of her dreams.
Now there’s no doubt in Stephanie’s mind that this is true. She knows without question that C is the perfect man for her. No one in the world makes her feel more loved. Beautiful. Special. And she wanted to do something special for herself (and him too) to capture that feeling. Now and for years to come.
